December 6th 2013 MDT

A Law Like No Other - the far-to-right rule

November 20th 2013 MDT

Here is an interesting article by our friends at Commute Orlando http://commuteorlando.com/wordpress/2013/11/19/a-law-like-no-other/ For a Utah context, the Florida "far-to-right" law referred to in the article is comparable to this Utah law: http://www.le.utah.gov/code/TITLE41/htm/41_06a110500.htm One of the "convolutions" in the Florida statute that we don't have (since 2001) is the "substandard-width lane" wording.  When more exceptions were added to the Utah law in 2001, the leg ...Continue Reading

Thanks for a good meeting/news article/cheap headlight recommendation

November 14th 2013 MDT

Hello BPAC,I told Wayne I would send him a link and I couldn't find his direct email so I am sending this out to the group, so to make it relevant not just for Wayne, here is an interesting floating roundabout in the Netherlands: http://electricbikereport.com/hovenring-a-floating-bike-roundabout-video/This looks like a good solution to connect the boulevard to canyon trail... if we could get  a few million! But seriously, although this particular project is out of budget (but shows that some places in the world ...Continue Reading
