Parking Proximity to Residential Units

The City of Orem is considering a parking proximity requirement for residential units.  Meaning the parking serving a particular unit must be within a certain distance from either the front door or the common entrance to the building in which the residential unit is located.

Are there any cities or towns that have this or a similar requirement?
