SENIOR NEPA SPECIALIST/PROJECT MANAGER (#SLC1701)

Parametrix is seeking a Senior NEPA Specialist/Project Manager to join us in Salt Lake City. We have a strong transportation planning presence in Utah and are looking to enhance our client services by providing additional NEPA expertise. Parametrix works on premier environmental and transportation projects in the Pacific Northwest, Rocky Mountain States, and New Mexico.  We are proud to have established relationships with a range of clients providing us the opportunity to support and enhance the communities in which we live and work.

WHO YOU ARE:

Experienced: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Transportation Planning, or similar. Master’s degree preferred. 10+ years of environmental/transportation experience, preferably in the consulting environment. 

Talented: You will have the opportunity to provide environmental planning services while partnering with other transportation planners and engineers.  Job responsibilities include conducting NEPA impact analyses; leading and coordinating the preparation of EISs, EAs, categorical exclusions, and related environmental documentation; leading environmental permitting efforts; and developing documentation for a variety of planning studies. Experience on transportation and/or other complex infrastructure projects is highly desirable.

Relationship-focused: This senior professional role will focus on project management and delivery, business development, and client development. Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative approach, “team player” attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, agency staff, and co-workers are essential.

Skilled in Project Management and Business/Client Development: Demonstrated experience and success in managing, executing, and delivering complex projects as well as developing client relationships and marketing environmental/transportation services.  Proven history of strong client relationships in Utah.
