Fwd: Is the APAUT listserv useful?

Thanks to everyone who responded to my listserv request! Several of you posted a similar comment as Sean (see below).  I am suggesting as a temporary work around that you cc: the list serv whenever you reply to a list serv request.  This will allow everyone to see your response (I think).  Let’s see how that works, and when we have time we can figure out to automate it.

Aric,

This is a topic I wish we would discuss in Utah. Frankly I feel the listserv is underused. I love the idea of being able to ask a question to the chapter members. My frustration lies in that the answers are not published back to the listserv. Much like I am responding to you in an individual email, the questions posted here never get widespread response. I wish there was a repository, or message board, or somewhere where the discussion could continue to live to be found later. Of course, maybe there is and I am just unaware of it. I would guess that most of the subscribers appreciate the idea of the listserv bringing topics and announcements to our inbox rather than having to go check yet another website regularly, but the limitation of the listserv is glaring to me.

Just my $0.02.
