Cache County is located in a beautiful valley in northern Utah. We are home to Utah State University (Logan, UT) and have much to offer in both outdoor recreation and the arts. Our mission is to make sure Cache County remains a great place to live and work so we hire staff that shares that goal.
Cache County is currently seeking a Planning Manager to oversee a very active Planning and Zoning Division, including:
- Current Planning and Zoning;
- Countywide Planning;
- Regional Trail Coordination;
- Acting as the Land Use Authority for the issuance of in-office permits.
Minimum Qualifications include:
- A Master's Degree in urban/rural planning, public administration, or a closely related field;
- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible employee oversight; and
- A minimum of five years’ progressive experience in municipal planning.
Special Qualifications include:
- Current AICP Certification; A valid driver's license, no DUI/ARR within the past five (5) years and less than two (2) moving violations within the past 24 months.
