Teton County is a year-round resort community, located in the northwestern corner of Wyoming. It serves as the southern gateway to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks and is home to three world class ski resorts. Approximately 97% of the land within the county is held in public ownership – National Park, National Elk Refuge, and National Forest.

This position monitors and enforces a variety of codes and regulations related to zoning, land use, nuisance and other matters of public concern; the employee in this position serves a resource and provides information on County regulations to property owners, residents, the general public and other County departments and divisions. Our ideal candidate is a team-player, problem-solver, pays attention to details, collaborates to seek compliance, and can clearly communicate technical material in both written and verbal form to a variety of individuals.

Minimum Qualifications:
A.S. Degree in Construction Technology, Planning, Law Enforcement or related field and two years’ experience in building inspection, code compliance, construction industry or equivalent combination of experience and training.

Hiring Range: $24.80/hr. - $26.06/hr.
