The Utah Community Development Office is updating a Rural Design Guide for rural community leaders that will share best practices and offer model code and ordinances proven to result in safe, health-promoting and attractive design outcomes. We're running a public calendar contest called "I Heart this Place" through the first of October, in hopes that through a wide range of submissions we'll compile a meaningful sample of case studies of design in rural Utah that is working for people, and will be able to research regulatory controls that exist in places where design is working.   

We'd so appreciate it if you could spread the word, and hope you'll share your submissions as well!
