Land use authority for subdivisions

We are considering changes to our subdivision ordinance and have some questions for planners in the state, especially if you are moving forward with a land use authority other than the planning commission..

 

  1. Who is your administrative land use authority?  10-9a-604(1)(a) “’administrative land use authority’ means an individual, board, or commission, appointed or employed by a municipality, including municipal staff or a municipal planning commission.”
  2. How are you handling the posting and notice of agenda?
  3. How are you handling meeting minutes?
