The Department of City & Metropolitan Planning is looking for a dynamic planning practitioner who would like to coach/mentor undergraduate urban ecology students in a required course called “Urban Ecology in Action.” Students explore career opportunities open to urban ecology majors and learn how to identify and apply for internships and jobs. Additional activities include informational interviews, field trips, guest speakers, student presentations, and peer review activities.

We have an opening for the Spring Semester. This course meets Thursday, January 11 – April 18, from 6-9 pm. This course will be co-taught with Jordan Katcher. The spring semester will be a training opportunity to learn the curriculum. We will ask the new instructor to teach solo the following fall semester.

For more information, contact Chair Stacy Harwood at harwood@PROTECTED or Jordan Katcher at Jordan.katcher@PROTECTED.

Best regards,

Nicole Masson
