Residential Zoning Regulations for Ground-Mounted Solar Panels

Hello Utah Chapter –

We recently received an inquiry about placing a ground-mounted solar panel in the rear yard of a residential lot.  At the present time, we do not have specific regulations for this. We will likely look into adding regulations, but in the mean time I’m inclined to treat it as an accessory structure.  Please let me know if you have any wisdom to share regarding this issue.
