We'll see you tomorrow at the 2021 Quality Communities Academy!

It's your last chance to register for the 2021 Quality Communities Academy!

After many years of stakeholder and working group engagement, Envision Utah will launch Creating Communities: A Guide to Walkable Centers at this year’s Quality Communities Academy.

The guide is a resource for local governments, developers, and the public to create live, work, play, and learn communities in Utah. At the event, Envision Utah and other community partners will present key principles from the Creating Communities guide and talk about how to use the guide as a resource for your community. We will also be hearing from speakers across Utah in breakout sessions:

·     Myths, NIMBYism, and Public Engagement: Dissect the most common myths on centers and high-density development from NIMBYs and learn how to combat them through values-based public engagement.

·     Centers in Different Settings: The best centers are unique to their location. Learn about incorporating centers in a variety of settings including retrofits and in rural communities.

·     Implementation First Steps: How to get started as a city council member, elected official, or other city staff member.

This event will be free, but please RSVP above to choose which breakout session you would most like to be a part of.

Support Envision Utah!

Like all of you, we’re worried about keeping ourselves and our families healthy, and we’re concerned about both the short- and long-term impacts of the current pandemic. But thanks to your generous support, we’re also able to remain focused on other critical long-term issues like air quality, water, land use & transportation, education, disaster resilience, and more. Thank you for your support!
