Our ideal candidate is a team-player and detail oriented individual who possesses the ability to prioritize and multitask, and is able to communicate technical material in both written and verbal form to a variety of individuals. The Planning and Building Services Department is structured to provide opportunities for advancement.
· Serving as the initial point of contact for customer service regarding general regulatory inquiries about the Land Development Regulations.
· Reviewing development applications, assuring all projects recommended for approval comply with all Land Development Regulations, goals and objectives of the Comprehensive Plan, and other policies of the County.
Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or related field; AND two years of experience with community development and planning programs; OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Master’s Degree is desirable.

Hiring Range: $52,845 - $55,521
