PLANNER

Logan Simpson, a growing multi-discipline, environmental planning and design firm, is looking for a Planner to work in our Salt Lake City, Utah office.

This position will be responsible for providing planning consultant services to municipalities throughout Utah, Idaho, and Colorado. Responsibilities include land use planning, research, documentation, graphic and document layout work, coordination of public outreach activities, and related duties as required.

Proficiency in Adobe Suite and ArcGIS with example products of mapping and graphics are required.  Experience with comprehensive and general plans, design guidelines, vision documents, and processes are preferred. Candidates must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and possess strong communication skills.  Additionally, candidates must have a positive attitude and open mind towards involvement on a wide range of project types.

Required Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, or closely related field.

·         1-5 years of relevant consulting or agency experience.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills.

·         Exceptional attention to detail and quality control.

·         Availability to attend occasional night and weekend meetings.
