The Cache Metropolitan Planning Organization (CMPO) is seeking public review and comment on its Draft 2050 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). The RTP serves as the template for transportation development for highways, transit & bicycle and pedestrian improvements (active transportation) in the Logan Urbanized region through the year 2050.

Notice is also given that the (CMPO) is seeking public review and comment on a corresponding draft air quality conformity analysis for the 2050 RTP (Air Quality Memorandum # 2050 v2 RTP-1).

Comments will be received for the proposed RTP and the accompanying air quality conformity determination until July 16, 2023.

The plan will likely be considered for final approval at the CMPO Executive Council Meeting schedule for some time in July 2023. Once approved, this plan will be the final plan unless amended.

This public comment period is the Cache Valley Transit District’s (CVTD) public participation process for those transit related projects shown in the RTP and is intended to satisfy CVTD’s program of projects requirements.
