Re: Fwd: Bike/Pedestrian and Vehicle Accident Report

Thanks Gary & Dayton, for your follow-up on this.  It is useful to better understand where/how bike/ped. incidents are happening locally.  One element that we need to try and get ahead of is the cause.  In the past, many (not all) bike incidents reported by Logan PD were riding on sidewalks...are we having any impact via our outreach/education? Are there new causes arising or just more cyclists (maybe peds., too)?

Per conversations in Feb's meeting, here is a list of bike/ped accidents in 2018.  Use these lists as you see fit, and a hat tip to Gary Saxton for digging these up.  Data Source: Logan PD.

Gary,

Here is the information you requested. I have included the addresses so you can separate out the downtown information you need. There have been no bicycle/vehicle accidents so far this year and only one vehicle/pedestrian accident. Hopefully this gives you some of the information you wanted.

Thanks. It's for downtown and BPAC. Just a monthly report beginning in Jan 2019. If you happen to have a 2018 year ending report for downtown...500 North to 300 South, that would be awesome.

Gary,

Let me see what I can do. Is it for you specifically, for BPAC or another organization?

I can facilitate getting that information, but need to know also what parameters you are looking for, month, year, multiple years, etc.

Barry
