Bicycle Licensing requirement in state law? Yup. Darn.

I finally found the alleged state law requiring cities to license bicycles.  Actually the law requires cities to have an ordinance requiring all bicycle dealers to license bicycles sold by them.  Since there are no bicycle dealers anywhere in Cache County other than in Logan, none of our other towns must have licensing ordinances.

If I open a bike shop in North Logan, can I not do any business until the city passes an ordinance?

Anyhow, I guess many of those licensing ordinances in Logan Code are there for a reason.  Darn.
