Based on feedback from our membership base, and our desire to advance the practice of food systems planning, the American Planning Association’s (APA) Food Systems Planning Interest Group (FIG) has decided to pursue official APA Division status. The next step to making this happen is completing APA’s official petition:https://planning.org/divisions/groups/food/petition/. Please help us reach the 300 signatures required to achieve Division status by signing the petition and passing on this message to your colleagues, networks, and listservs. You must be a regular APA member (not a student member) to sign, and your signature commits you to joining the Division upon its formation and paying the annual dues ($25/regular member; $10/new member).
