I am evaluating our bonding process here in Lehi and I am hoping to get some feedback on a couple questions. Currently we as a Planning Division are in charge of bonding for new project improvements which includes estimating the bond amount,
coordinating the placement of the bond and all the bond releases.
My questions are:
A.
Which department within your city is in charge of bonding (including all responsibilities associated with bonding); and is there a specific
position within the department that is in charge of bonding (example – Bonding Technician).
B.
When estimating bonds for both site plans and subdivisions, does your city bond only for
public improvements or does your city bond for both private and
public improvements?
