Greetings fellow land use gurus! I’ll be seeing many of you in Vernal, but in the meantime I’m in need of some assistance. The West Davis Corridor will be completed next year and is designated by UDOT as a scenic byway – which is the same case as Legacy Highway.

My City Council and Planning Commission have asked us to research sign regulations in proximity to scenic byways and bring a recommendation to them on such sign regulations – specifically allowed heights. Assuming some cities or counties have regulations specific to protecting a view shed for a scenic byway, could you be so kind as to send me a link to that ordinance or data you may have on this topic?
