Scott, if you’re planning to go to Kanab let’s tag team the legislative update together. Angela and I did this the last couple of years. We’ll put it together after the end of the legislative session

Thank you for taking my call today. I look forward to working on the APA Legislative Update. As I mentioned, I am assisting Wilf Sommerkorn with tracking the bills. I plan to be at the Spring Conference to report back to the Planners (not sure if Wilf arranges that conference session or not?). Angela Price shared the Google Doc Legislative Tracker with me which I have been updating. Thank you for changing the website to show the year 2022 (could you send the email below after the website is updated?). Could you please send the information below to the Listserv to let everyone know who is assisting on behalf of the APA, and that way the Planners can contact me if they see something missing or have questions?

I am excited to let everyone know that I will be assisting Wilf Sommerkorn with the 2022 APA Legislative Update. Work is well underway at the Capitol, and there are already several bills for local planners and land use officials to track. Please review the updated 2022 Legislative Bill Tracker at apautah.org under the Legislative tab. Make sure you are reviewing the 2022 tab of the Google Sheet. If you see any missing bills of interest to your jurisdiction that are not on the tracker, please email me (shess@PROTECTED) and I will be sure to add the information. I intend to update the Tracker daily as new bills are filed. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions. I am looking forward to seeing you all at the Spring APA Conference to discuss this year’s Legislative Session.
