MISSING MIDDLE HOUSING

A REGIONAL SOLUTIONS EVENT

Missing Middle Housing represents a different way to think big about the housing problem. Join us to hear from keynote speaker and architect Daniel Parolek, followed by a panel of experts featuring: 

Rep. Steve Waldrip — Utah Legislator, Co-Chair of Commission on Housing Affordability
Steve brings experience in real estate development, law, government operations, and public/private partnerships to his service at the Utah Legislature. He was elected to represent Utah House District 8 in 2018.

Shawn Tiegan — Utah Foundation VP & Researcher
Shawn has worked as a housing policy analyst with Community Action Partnership of Utah and has worked with Utah's chapter of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials, as well as serving as past chairperson of Salt Lake City Housing Trust Fund Advisory Board.

Nate Pugsley — Brighton Homes Founder & CEO
Nate has been involved in the real estate and development industry for more than 25 years. Brighton Homes has extensive experience in building Missing Middle homes along the Wasatch Front.

Natalie Gordon — North Salt Lake City Council Member
Natalie supports smart growth, responsible use of city resources, and collaborative decision making. She served on the Planning Commission for seven years and is currently employed by the State Board of Education as a School Trust Specialist.

Daniel Parolek — Keynote Speaker, Author, Architect
Daniel, the event's keynote speaker, is an expert and author of "Missing Middle Housing: Thinking Big and Building Small to Respond to Today's Housing Crisis."
