Dear Utah APA members –
As many of you know, out undergraduate urban ecology students at the U of Utah are required to complete an internship before they graduate. At the moment, some are struggling to find positions.
A typical internship is 10 hours week for four to six months. These positions can be paid or unpaid, as well be in-person or done remotely. Students are interested in housing, transportation, community development, parks, public lands, economic development, advocacy, environment, sustainability in the public, private and nonprofit sectors.
Please email me if you have an internship opportunity (or the potential for one in the near future). Also, do let me know how you would like students to contact you.
If you don’t have an internship position but are interested in participating in professional development activities with our students, we welcome your participation. Activities include such things as resume review and mock interviews. My email is harwood@PROTECTED.
Thank you for helping during this very complicated time! Enjoy the holiday break this week and look forward to connecting with many of you in the coming weeks.
Stacy
