Juab Counties Planning and Zoning employee is retiring at the end of June.

We are looking to fill his position with someone who can manage the planning and IT services for our county.

The pay range is from $70 to $75K.

Job Title: Info. Technology/Planning and Zoning Director          Effective Date: 11-16-01

JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent in this job provides overall information technology management for computer systems and networks belonging to the County within the Juab County Courthouse. Provides assistance to users of the County data processing system including training, troubleshooting, system repair, and building additions to the system. Plans, builds, and maintains the County’s computer networks within the courthouse which includes interface with the statewide area network. Provides oversight and management for the GPS (Global Positioning System) and the GIS (Geographic Information System) within the County. Handles and administers the County zoning ordinance. Provides staff support to the Juab County Planning Commission and provides information to the Juab County Commission. Supervises one full-time employee. Performs other duties as assigned.

Computer systems, programs, and equipment

Effectively deal with the general public

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Two years of college level course in business administration, computer science, or related fields plus five years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
