BECOME AN AICP MEMBER

Recent research indicates an extremely high percentage of practicing planners consider AICP certification a valuable credential. "AICP is shorthand for education, experience, breadth of knowledge, ethical practice, and commitment to the planning profession” (https://www.planning.org/aicp/). If you are not already, consider becoming an AICP certified planner. The Utah Chapter APA, in conjunction with the Department of City and Metropolitan Planning, University of Utah, will again sponsor two (2) AICP examination preparation Study Groups in 2019. These Study Groups meet several times prior to the AICP examinations in May and November 2019. The 1st Study Group for 2019 will meet Saturday February 23rd @ 9:30 AM, University of Utah (meeting location to be confirmed).

If you are a supervisor, please encourage your planners to become an AICP member. If you are a planner consider becoming AICP certified now. There are several routes available to AICP certification including the AICP Candidate Pilot Program. If you have questions, please contact:
