Part Time Planner – The Town of Hideout Utah

Hideout Town is seeking a part time Town Planner. The Town Planner will be responsible for aiding in all aspects of Planning, Zoning and Enforcement of Town Codes. They will prepare Planning Commission Agendas, prepare Staff Reports for Planning Commission and Town Council, and assist the Planning Commission and the Town Staff.  The Planner will be responsible to review and update the General Plan and Development Code when necessary, work with Developers on all land use applications such as Subdivisions, Annexations, and Commercial Development. They will learn Town Codes and Zoning, approve and sign all Building Permits making sure they comply with Town Codes, approve and sign all Business License Applications making sure they comply with Town Codes, write Enforcement Letters and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or closely related field.
• 1-5 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality control.

Pay dependent on experience, open until filled.
