JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
FOR CEDAR CITY PLANNER
CEDAR CITY CORPORATION is seeking a qualified individual to fill a Planner position. Positions close Friday August 3, 2018 at 5:00 pm.
DESCRIPTION:
In coordination with the City Engineer and the City Building Official the Planner performs professional level planning activities for Cedar City which may include but not limited to subdivision review, site plan review, statistical research, City General Plan and Zoning ordinance development, administration and enforcement, long-range planning, and other advising of Boards and Commissions as needed. The Planner reports to the City Engineer and does not supervise. See full job descriptions on our website www.cedarcity.org.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in City Land Use and Zoning planning for local government, or related field preferred. I.E. Knowledge and experience with architectural design, landscape design.
SALARY/BENEFITS:
Salary Range is $45,475-$65,408. The City participates in the Utah Retirement System and currently provides health, dental, vision and life insurance.
