PechaKucha Night was devised as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring creatives worldwide.  Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of "chit chat", it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It's a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.

YAF, APA, ALSA, & Salt Lake Art Center are proud to host PechaKucha Night Salt Lake City. PKn will occur in conjunction with Salt Lake Art Center’s exhibit, “Contemporary Masters, artist-designed miniature golf”. Admission to the art center is free. PKn-SLC will be taking donations at the door to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis foundation. A silent auction to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis  Foundation will take place during the reception before the presentations. Drink bar & light refreshments available during the event.
