Bonneville Shoreline Development Notice

All -
This has nothing to do with on-street bicycle and pedestrian safety.  But worth noting, the bonneville shoreline trial is a CMPO-planned corridor in the latest Regional Transportation Plan.

This Wednesday evening, about 6:30 at Smithfield City Hall, there will be a scintillating review of water service, sewer service, annexation and access to a particular parcel north of dry canyon above Smithfield.  http://smithfieldcity.org/file/2016/06/CC-02-28-18-Agenda.pdf (item 4)

I'm telling you all because this particular piece of property is a candidate for Bonneville Shoreline Trail access, and if development is allowed to proceed that does not accommodate for Bonneville Shoreline Trail, it gets that much harder to ever get the bonneville shoreline built above Smithfield.

I will plan on attending Wednesday night to ensure that Smithfield City Council is aware of the need to preserve our longest-planned, longest desired, most regionally significant trail corridor.  I would encourage you to share this message widely attend and speak up during the public comment period if you are so inclined.

Thank you, and don't hesitate to contact me with additional questions.
