Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)
The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a 6-year financial program that describes the schedule for obligating federal funds to state and local projects. County Road Sales Tax
In 2008 voters in Cache County approved a 1/4 of 1% sales tax increase to fund “regionally significant” road improvements in Cache County. These funds are distributed by the Cache County Council of Governments (CCCOG). More information about the County Sales Tax Funding.
Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Funds (CMAQ)
CMAQ funds are for projects, which it can be proven to reduce traffic congestion and/or improve air quality in air quality non-attainment areas. Cache County has been designated a “non-attainment” area for particulate matter 2.5. More information about CMAQ Funding.
